Our main products are Abalone, Sea Cucumber, Shark's Fin, Fish Maw, Marine Products, Bird's Nest, Cordyceps, Ginseng and other Medicinal Tonic Wholesale and Retail. In 1997, we successfully innovated and introduced our Instant Shark's Fin, with the concept of a Free Premium Stock. Up to date, we have successfully sold more than 5,000,000 Boxes. Our Instant Shark’s Fin helps consumers to save not only time, but energy as well. Our Instant Shark’s Fin comes with a Free Premium Stock which just needs to be boiled and have the Shark’s Fin placed onto it to be done; the whole process takes only 3 minutes! This convenient product allowed many working adults to have the opportunity to enjoy their own Shark’s Fin Soup at home. Our company’s belief is to Provide Great Food At An Affordable Price.

Being a committed and visionary entrepreneur, our founder, Tam Wang Kei continues to grow the Tam Kah brand. In a short span of time, Tam Kah Shark’s Fin now has a total of 5 restaurants, 5 Retail outlets and a number of factories in Singapore and Macau. Tam Kah Shark’s Fin is committed to preserving the rich traditions of Chinese cuisine in contemporary ways. Our team of dedicated chefs is constantly developing new Recipes to cater to the ever changing taste of today’s consumers. We aim to give our clients a new experience and best quality.

In 1998, Poon Choi was brought in from Hong Kong by Tam Wang Kei. At that time, Poon Choi was only available to regular customers to enjoy, until the opening of Tam Kah’s new restaurant in Chinatown in 2003. Only after then, Abalone Poon Choi was introduced to the whole of Singapore, and became a Chinese New Year must-have dish. Some have said that: why Poon Choi is so popular in the Southeast Asia, the credit cannot be separated from Tam Kah.

In 2010, Tam Kah Shark’s Fin continues to introduce more authentic New Year dishes, Buddha Jumps Over The Wall. Up till now we have successfully sold more than 3,000 pots.

In response to the environmentalists and young adults in 2013, this year Tam Kah Shark’s Fin will be launching several new products: Bird’s Nest Soup with Dried Scallop, Seafood Soup with Crab Meat and Lobster, Whole Piece Abalone with Scallop Soup, Supreme Fish Maw Soup, Sea Cucumber with Fish Maw Soup and Fresh Chilli Crab Meat. Each of these products comes with a Free Premium Lobster Soup which just requires 3 minutes of reheating.
